So now I am officially famous...I will probably be signing autographs this weekend, not sure where yet. I'm sure my fans will know how to find me though.
OK, not really. I was on a womens issues show on WAMC called 51%. It is a show hosted by one of my oldest friends Julia Taylor. We've known each other since we were 5! Thats 20 years...wow I feel old! I saw her at church at xmas time and we got to talking and I told her that I'm a doula and had a homebirth etc and she tells me that she just happens to be doing a show on birth. So I told her to sign me up! So anyway...here is the final product.

It is called birth talk. I was so nervous to tape it and I think even more nervous to listen to it. I hope you guys enjoy and get a taste for how much passion I have for this subject.

You were wonderful! As you no I did the no epi thing this time, but next time I think I want to go even more natural. Thanks for being a voice for another way to bring these little angels into the world.
So happy to find your blog! I wish I would have called you when I went to the hospital -- I hated to wake you in the middle of the night, especially after I wimped out and went for the epi. I have to say though, that it was so helpful to chat with you both pre-and post birth. I've passed on to other mothers a lot of the pearls of wisdom that you shared with me. Thanks, Kassie! Oh, and PS. Levi looks ALL BOY to me. Who would think he was a girl???
I love your blog. You sounded so professional on the radio talk show! I loved hearing what you had to say. You are so cool! I can say I know a famous Manhattan doula. I sure wish I had you when I was giving birth. My birthing experiences were not terrible, but they weren't that good either. By the way you look so good with your new hairstyle. What a hot mama you are.
