I can't believe I forgot to mention our great luck which I'm pretty sure beats out any of the Eyre's luck (if you know them you know that they are darned lucky) Well maybe not....winning Wicked lottery tickets 500 times might take the cake.
We were supposed to go to a birthday party in Brooklyn when we decided since the train was SOOOOO slow it wouldn't work with our timeline. So we hopped of the 1 train at 50th and decided to go to Toys R Us to ride the Ferris wheel since E was sad about not going to the party. On our way down a guy with a cane and a patch over his eye asked us if we wanted tickets to see Lion King. Of course I said yes! I have always wanted to see Lion King but since I'm cheap...oops sorry Fork I mean thrifty, I have never gone.
It was AWESOME!!! I was jumping up and down and like saying woo hoo and all, and E was like Kass, calm down its not that exciting. She even wrote a story about it at school. (the play and me freaking out) Anyway, it was great L was clapping and ooh oohing for much of it. And the seats were great. Thank you guy with cane who probably didn't have a patch after all, but it makes the story better right?
PS I'm very sorry to my faithful readers who were fooled by my announcement, mean but so funny :)

That is awesome! We tried to win tickets to Wicked when we were in NYC a couple years ago, no such luck. I bet your kids had a blast.
