
This is the NYC marathon, but isn't it a cool picture?
I am running my first half marathon on the 3rd. Wish me luck and please pass on any advice. My friend Eden and I decided about a week and a half ago to do it, so Saturdays are our running days. I am seriously loving it. Whenever I would run before I would start out so fast and then just exhaust myself. We are just taking it easy and it is really nice. My goal is to do it in 2 hours, 2:5 max. OK, maybe 2:15 tops. You heard it here first, my goal is 2:15.

Yeah Kass!! You are going to love it! I ran a half 2 weeks ago. It was so much fun! Maybe next year we can run the NY Marathon together. :)

If it's Sunday, have lots and lots of carbs Thursday and Friday. After Saturday morning, eat lighter but drink tons of Gatorade for fluids AND electrolytes, as much as you can, all day. Get up early enough Sunday that you'll be able to move around and go poopy before you start. Sorry, TMI, I know. Have a great time!
You can totally hit 2:5, you're a young, fit, little thing! Definitely listen to the poopy advice! It's kind of important. You made me laugh with your increasing goal time. My fastest time was 2:4 at the half way point during my full, my slowest was today at 2:15. So there you go, I've run your gammet for you! If I'm running that pace I'm guessing you could get in under 2.
