Our Trip to Amishville
Warning: This is a very long picture heavy post.
In no particular order here are the pictures from our farm trip/campout last month.
The calf would suck anything you stuck in its mouth, fingers included. It was a weird sensation and your had came out covered in goo.
K-dawg enjoyed all this kissing etc waay too much.
Cute little Becky feeding the calves. This was the little girls' job.
This is Katie, she is adorable.
This is Maddie, Abners wife. I love her, she is a cool lady and we get along so well that we are going back to visit in August.
Some family pictures where we all look mostly decent, no blinking or goofy smiles. (L does look a little creepy....)
We decided to test the theory on ourselves.
We asked some other visitors if they would take our pictures and after they took a few they were like, he do you wanna take a picture with Annabelle? Um ok sure. What really sealed their weirdness was that they didn't even know that Washington state grew apples. But they were from Jersey so, you know.
or at least have a little nibble.
Mary was sweet enough to give all the kids a pony ride, back and forth 100 times.
One of the beautiful things about this trip was no shoes for 24 hours. I love going barefoot and that is something that I miss when I am in the city. We tromped through all kinds of crap (literally) but it was great. Their kids are always barefoot, the only place that I wouldn't go barefoot was into the cow barn, old hard poo and fresh poo are two different things. But the cute little kids go all over barefoot. Maddie was telling us that she will often go to the store with the kids having forgotten to have them put their shoes on!
This is Karley's foot that is sweetly holding Xan's head from bobbing forward on the way home.
It was a great trip and I can't wait to go back!

Happy Burfday Can Man!
29 candles are a lot to blow out!
But when you're only 29 its not that hard. Now if you were turning, say 33 that would be a whole different story ;)
We went on a little date to celebrate. We ended up in Times Square, don't ask me why (ok, the restaurant we went to was there) but we made the most of it. Can't you tell how excited this horse cop is that I'm touching his ride?
We saw Spidey rescuing a damsel......
and even the MTC, cool beans. Speaking of MTC, did you know Can and I met on his mish? Scandalacious!
Fun night! I love you Can! You are the best and the sweetest and most considerate and a great example to me and the kiddies. xoxoxoxx
