Last night, don't laugh but one of our school assignments was to find some examples of good and bad writing online and then we had to write our own nightmare email that broke all the rules.

This was mine:

Yo K-Dawg, what up? I cant go shopping w/u tmrw cuz i have to go 2 lunch w/my g-ma.have fun n dont by to much clothes!!!!!!!!!

The sad slash funny thing about this is that when K dawg and I email this is what they sound like. Except of course for the improper usage of "by" and "to" the bad grammar of "to much" I'm not that unedumacated :) So then I read Erin's blog after this assignment and it was so perfect. What are some of my loyal readers favorite slang phrases and words that you use when no one's looking? I'll start you off by showing you my comment to Erin's blog last night. I know there are people who read this who use slang, so please don't be shy and no I'm not at all ashamed to admit that I talk like this....ok well maybe just a little.

Nicole from The Biggest Loser....

is like my new BFF at the gym. She taught an awesome lift class and then we chatted it up after and she told me that she was on the show. So of course I almost fainted as I do when I meet any celebrity ;) No but really she was super sweet and I was sweatin it up.

In other extremely exciting news not to be missed, I am now the member of the month at the 53rd and Lex 24 hour Fitness Derek Jeter Ultra Sport Club...phew thats a mouthful. Not sure how it happened, oh wait yes I do, I'm obsessed with going to the gym. I am literally a crabby patty if I don't go so I go everyday and I share the gym gospel with my friends, and I use the kids club, and I go to classes, and I buy training sessions(when they're on sale) and apparently all any of this does for me is get me 2 free tshirts (old past event and too big tshirts I might add) and my picture on a wall. Whoopdy frickin doo doo. Not that I'm not grateful because I am. You can never have too many over sized tees to wear with your leggings.....

Sleeping Beauty

E's friend had a few little parts in the American Ballet Theater's version of The Sleeping Beauty, so we decided to go to our very first ballet!

These seats, although very high, were perfect. See the nice cushy velvet? Well it was a perfect pillow for one bored mama. (E loved it and can't wait to see another ballet.....as for me I can't wait for another afternoon nap. )

Bombest brussel sprouts

These sprouts are SOO bomb. Lemon juice, garlic, salt *lots*, pepper and EVOO bake till done at 350 and then at the end add some real parmesan cheese and bam, done.

As Far as my Feet will Carry Me

This movie was SO A-mazing. A beautiful story of a man who travels almost 8000 miles to see his family after he escapes from a Siberian labor camp. It had me bawling like a baby. Not a light easy watch, but so so good. (If you have netflix its a watch instantly movie)

Happy Birthday little Leavers

It was L's 3rd birthday about um...a month ago :) We love this little guy so much!

Poor little guy. I had invited the Elders over for dinner forgetting that it was his birthday. Oh well, thats what happens when you're the second child.

He loves parmesan cheese so much. He just shoves it in his mouth. And he loves to be naked.

Aww, my little sweetie. We are so blessed to have him in our family!!

crafty drafty

My mom got the kids Bendaroos. They are great to play with, but when they get rolled up into little balls and ground into the carpet not so much.

E had fun making an ice cream sunday one day with Can, it literally took a couple of hours. And then L promptly took it all apart one by one. Luckily we got in some pics before.
