Karley invited us to Atlantic city for 2 nights and of course we couldn't pass it up! It was fun even though the pool was gross and we all got sick and didn't sleep.
I was 35 weeks with Elly!

Elly's Blessing
Our little Cannon Elias was blessed at Thanksgiving time when my family was in town. Thank you all for coming, it was so great to show you all our new town! We love our little Elly belly and are so beyond thankful to our Father in heaven for sending him to us. He is so easy going and happy. He lights up whenever he sees any one of us. He loves to laugh at his siblings antics and sadly still keeps his mama up at night nursing.

I found this cabbage patch doll at a thrift store and couldn't resist! Elyse thought she was so creepy and took about a million photos to prove it. The one on the bottom is especially creepy because of the way the light is hitting Elyse's eyes. We all got a good laugh. I love how funny Elyse is. She has a great sense of humor and is always willing to laugh at herself. She thinks of funny things and always puts on a good show :)

Life in SC
When we arrived in SC we stayed in Summerville for a week and then Folly Beach for 3 weeks while we searched for a house. It was magical. We all love the beach so much and it was a dream living right across the street!
Cannon was coming back and forth while he finished up work and school. That was rough. There was no fence at our house and we were right in between 2 roads. Oh and the deck rails were wide enough for August to slip through. Super fun. I was sad to leave the beach but so so happy to move into our very own HOME! (a rental for one year, but still)
This big guy, AKA Banana Spider greeted us when we pulled into the driveway late one night. Cannon literally wanted to turn around and go back to the city. I was right behind him. But we plugged along and got into our rental only to find this guy in the shower a few minutes later.
GAH!! I HATE spiders. THis guy was huge! Not banana spider big, but big enough that you don't want to squash it with a shoe for the crunch sound it would make!
This was our home in Summerville for one week. It was only one side of this beautiful villa but it was great. We had a lawn and the weather was lovely.
Elly only 2 weeks old and already hitting the beach.

Thankfully my mom came to stay for a week to help out. I have never been so happy to see her! It was nice having her here to help with everything.
Crazy how all of our belongings fit into this small space. The guy from the ward who came and helped asked if we had more stuff in another storage unit. Nope. That's everything!
And this is our cute house! The street we live on is so awesome. There are 3 six year olds and an 11 year old boy with a basketball hoop across the street. Everyone loves him especially August. He calls him Gakins (his name is Jackson) His dad is Lee or Hee : ) August is now 2.5 and at the most fun age, he says the cutest things and picks up on all of our little quirks and sayings.

Affectionately called Palmetto bugs they are AKA roaches. They are basically every where here. Awesome.
