Philly

We met my parents in Philly to hand off the kids for the week. Before we went we consulted with Man Vs Food as to where to go. We took his advice on 2 places and were dissapointed with both.

The first was an old time ice cream shop which was so cute and check out this guy. Isn't he adorable? The ice cream was totally tasteless. But the ambiance was really fun.

And they had a million different old sodas. Doesn't Nee Nee have nice bone structure? She is a beauty in the making.

And this heres the bell. With a crack. Yup. I am not so into history like my Dad and brother. But it is still cool to go to a really old city.

We sure are a lively, happy bunch. It was starting to sprinkle and we were lugging around junk. Good times.

While we were waiting we went to the Terminal Market and saw an Amish diner. They had meat gravy on the menu which Can thought was a good idea because Maddie Lapp (our Amish farmer's wife) had made some from scratch that was just devine. This meat gravy? Not so much. Me I stuck with eggs and toast, you can't go wrong.

K it seems as if I'm complaining about this little trip, I promise it was nice and the best part was that we came home by ourselves!!
